Caramelized Autumn Brussel Sprouts



I made these last night and MR couldn't stop eating them! They are perfect for the turning weather and are a great appetizer or would go particularly well paired with salmon.

I'm not always big on exact measurements.

Caramelized Autumn Brussel Sprouts
  1. Halve your brussels and place them center down in a cast iron skillet {butter your skillet beforehand}
  2. Combine ingredients for your glaze
  • a couple tablespoons of honey
  • a couple tablespoons soy sauce
  • a spoonful of minced garlic
  • red pepper flakes to taste {I used a nickel sized squirt of Sriracha for kick}
      3. Once the brussels are turning a nice golden brown underneath brush on your glaze
      4. Leave on the stove top 3-5 more minutes
      5. Enjoy!  B'tayavon!!!
